I cannot get enough of round mirrors! In a home full of squares and rectangles these curvy beauties are just the thing to balance out and soften all the angles.
This beautiful work by David Derksen (Image of Transcience Mirror) is the piece I am currently lusting after. A row of perfectly overlapping circles treated with sulfur to create varying tones of gold. Transcience shows the beauty of the natural oxidizing process of mirrors.
Do you love circles as much as I do? How do you use them in your home?
Love Yels xox

I totally agree. Round mirrors are a great way to soften a room with sharp corners. They can also be so chic.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love round mirrors too. You definitely need to include some circles in your home to balance out all the straight lines that naturally occur in walls, doors, windows etc. I have a massive round ottoman which I really need to recover, if I can decide on fabric. But I'd love to include a round mirror, maybe when we do our bathroom up. x
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all these! Now I want a round mirror! That first bathroom is seriously amazing. I want the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteThese are great! Love a round shape, mirror or otherwise, to break up a very linear room design. x KL
ReplyDeleteI have a round one in the living room and you are so right, it's so perfect to break up all the angles! LOVE that first image...stripes + round mirror = new fave!
